Children's Receiving Home

The Children’s Receiving Home is also based at the Churchill Health Centre. This unit provides shelter to boys and girls up to17-years of age, with the length of stay ranging from five days to 11 months. The unit has four beds and offers:

  • Academic programming, including school attendance, through the Frontier School Division
  • Recreational programming
  • Counselling and support
  • Spiritual Care and Indigenous Cultural Service Programs

Staff at the home are trained in:

  • First Aid/CPR
  • NVCI
  • Suicide Awareness and Intervention
