Northern Transportation

The Northern Patient Transportation Program (NPTP) is available to all residents of the Town of Churchill.

The NPTP liaises with Churchill Clinic staff and doctors to:

• Coordinate referrals
• Follow up on referrals
• Coordinate appointment/s
• Notify clients of appointments
• Coordinate transportation for elective and emercency transfers
• Liaise with Winnipeg based escort when being used
• Liaise with First Nations and Inuit Health to coordinate intercity transport and boarding
• On-call for after-hours emergency transport on a rotating basis
